How to play
How do you play Ludo?
Ludo is a classic board game for 2-4 players. Each player has 4 tokens that start in their colored home base. Roll the dice to move tokens clockwise around the board. Get a 6 to release a token from base to the starting position. Land on opponents to send them back to their base. Be careful of safe spots where tokens cannot be captured. Get all your tokens to the center to win.
What are the safe spots in Ludo?
Ludo has 8 safe spots: the 4 starting positions (one for each color) and 4 star cells on the board. Tokens on safe spots cannot be captured by opponent tokens. The starting positions are at track cells 0 (Red), 13 (Green), 26 (Yellow), and 39 (Blue).
What happens when you roll a 6 in Ludo?
In Ludo, rolling a 6 allows you to either release a token from your base to the starting position, or move an existing token 6 cells clockwise. Additionally, rolling a 6 gives you an extra turn. However, if you roll three consecutive 6s, your turn is forfeited.
Can I play Ludo against the computer?
Yes! This Ludo game features an AI opponent with three difficulty levels: Easy (random moves), Medium (prioritizes captures and releases), and Hard (strategic play considering safety and blocking). You can also play locally with 2-4 players.
