How to play
How do you play Hearts?
Hearts is a trick-taking card game for 4 players. Each player gets 13 cards. Before play, pass 3 cards (Left, Right, Across, then no pass). The 2 of Clubs leads the first trick. Follow suit if possible; highest card of the led suit wins the trick. Each heart is worth 1 point and the Queen of Spades is 13 points. The goal is to have the lowest score when someone reaches 100 points.
What is Shooting the Moon in Hearts?
Shooting the Moon means taking all 13 hearts and the Queen of Spades in a single hand. Instead of getting 26 points, you get 0 and each opponent gets 26 points.
Can you play Hearts with 2 players?
Standard Hearts is played with 4 players. This online version has you playing against 3 AI opponents with Easy, Medium, or Hard difficulty.
What are the card passing rules in Hearts?
Before each hand, players pass 3 cards in rotation: Left, Right, Across, then no pass (keep your hand). The cycle then repeats.
