How to play
What is Arrowsmith?
Arrowsmith is an arrow-count logic puzzle. Each cell shows a number 0-4 indicating how many of its 4 cardinal neighbors (N/S/E/W) have arrows pointing AT this cell. Your task is to fill every cell with an arrow (N, S, E, or W) so that all numbers are satisfied simultaneously.
How do you play Arrowsmith?
Click an empty cell to cycle through arrows: North → East → South → West → empty. Each cell shows a clue number 0-4 = count of arrows pointing at it from its 4 neighbors. Some cells are pre-filled (anchor arrows, shown in muted color) and cannot be changed. Cross-reference neighboring clues to deduce which arrows go where.
Is Arrowsmith free?
Yes, completely free in your browser. No download required, works on mobile and desktop.
